We currently have a bonded pair of 4 year old males in foster ... Benjamin and Franklin! They are just adorable and looking for their forever home together.
Benjamin and Franklin grew up in upstate New York with a family with two small children. They are good with kids but they are young and still jump so they do still need some training. Both of them are also counter surfers, a behavior that their foster family is working on trying to break.
Benjamin is the calmer of the two boys. One of the things he loves to do is roll around in the grass in the sunshine. He is a bit timid around new things but will defend his home and his people with his unique bark.
Franklin loves tennis balls which accompany him wherever he goes! He's a cuddle bug for sure and will cuddle with you on the couch or the bed. He is the alpha of the two boys and watches out for his brother.
Both boys are great on leash but don't have lots of obedience training which they will need as they do tend to jump when excited and, as mentioned earlier, counter surf.
Benjamin and Franklin would do fine in a home with other dogs or just with each other but don't really like cats.
